Hello Friends,
Went to a friend's place for game night last weekend and got some inspiration for two new board game-related shirts.
First for Quacks of Quedlinburg. If you're familiar with deck-building games, this has some similarities, but it's instead a "bag"-building game where you build your bag of ingredients to place in your pot. It's a great game, and I highly recommend it. Here's a link to it on Amazon: https://amzn.to/48GBKuh (Commissions earned from link).
When you get to the last round of the game, you're supposed to "stir" (take pieces out of your bags) at the same time. I always love the tension of the final round, so I put up a new design in the store for it.
One of the other favorites of my group is Acquire. The game has been around for a long time (I have a 3M Shelf Game version from the 60s), but here's a link to the latest version on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3ZP4iOr (Commissions earned from link).
In this game, you have a hand of tiles that you can lay to start hotel franchises or build on the value of your current portfolio. The game requires a delicate balance of cash management, forecasting, market awareness skills, and luck of the draw for tiles. The last part is what I wanted to make a design around. When someone draws a tile that's going to really shake up the board, we like to call it "Spicy" or just say "Spice."
The T-shirt design is modeled after the Chef's kiss emoji but with a tile in there with "Spice" or "Spicy" on it. Whether you play Acquire, Scrabble, or any number of tile-laying games, I hope your pieces are nothing but spicy.
Wheels Up!
