Single digits play free!

Hello Friends!

We mentioned this at the grand opening but wanted to make it official — children 9 and under play free.

As a dad who's dragged younger kids out for rounds, I know firsthand that getting through even a quick course can be an accomplishment. We don't want to add cost to attempting to get the little ones involved in family time.

We've also added a Family Pass option — same price as 2.5 individual passes.

Have ideas for other pass types or arrangements that would get you out more? Let us know: wheelsupdg@gmail.com

A few reminders: The course is open dawn to dusk every day. Scan the QR code on the first tee sign or visit our "Buy a Pass" page to get out there. We'll be open through Halloween, at which point we'll close for the winter.

Now that the course is rolling, we're getting back to our other roots — board game talk.

Latest play: Chronicles of Crime. A cooperative detective game that advertises you can skip the rulebook and just start playing - a major selling point for most people. It took the tutorial to get the hang of the app companion and the card-scanning mechanic, but it mostly delivered on that promise. Immersive, straight-to-play, and fun.

In our hubris, we jumped straight to a Hard scenario after the tutorial. We got crushed but we will try again.
